Lulwa Al Shamlan is a Kuwaiti-Bulgarian pianist. Some notable performances include solo recitals at the House of Pianos in Dubai and Dar Al Athar Cultural Centre in Kuwait, as well as performances at Carnegie Hall in New York.

She has performed as a soloist with orchestras such as the Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra and the Manhattan School of Music Symphony Orchestra.

Lulwa has achieved many prizes in competitions from a young age. She has been awarded prizes at the International Festival of the Young Performers of Classical Music in Baku, Azerbaijan, the Elevato Piano Competition in Bern, Switzerland, the Dora Zaslavsky Koch Concerto Competition and The Respighi Prize in New York.

She previously studied at Wells Cathedral School, one of four specialized music schools in the United Kingdom, where she graduated from in 2019.

Going on to study at the Manhattan School of Music (MSM) in New York, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Music degree (May 2023) and Master of Music degree (May 2025) in Classical Piano.

Lulwa is currently studying for her Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Classical Piano at MSM.
